Midas Golden TouchOur commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income
We want your time with us to stay enjoyable. Games of chance are designed to entertain; they are not a way to earn money or to win back money that has already been lost. A house edge is built into every game we offer, which means that over a long period the odds favour the operator and losing your stake is the expected outcome of play.
Before you deposit, decide how much you are willing to lose and treat that amount as the price of your entertainment. When it is gone, the session is over.
- Set a budget from money left over after rent, bills, food and other commitments, and never from money you have borrowed.
- Decide in advance how long you will play, and keep room in your week for other things you enjoy.
- Do not chase losses by raising your stakes or depositing again to get even.
- Avoid gambling when you are upset, bored, under pressure or affected by alcohol.
- Keep gambling as one hobby among several rather than your main way of relaxing.
Our services are for adults only. You must be 18 or over to open an account, deposit or place a bet, and the account must be in your own name and used only by you. We hold a gaming licence and we verify the identity and age of our customers; where verification is not completed, we may suspend play and withdrawals until it is.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every account includes free safer gambling controls. You can use them at any time, whether you simply want to keep an eye on your spending or you need to stop completely. Setting a limit has no effect on how your withdrawals are handled.
| Tool | What it does | How it takes effect |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps what you can pay in over a day, week or month. | Applies to every payment method on your account once confirmed. |
| Loss limit | Caps the net amount you can lose over the period you choose. | Play is blocked once the limit is reached, until the period resets. |
| Session limit | Sets how long a single signed-in session may run. | You are signed out automatically when the time is up. |
| Reality check | Shows an on-screen reminder at an interval you choose. | The reminder tells you how long you have played and lets you stop or carry on. |
| Time-out | Closes your account to play for a short, fixed break. | Starts immediately and cannot be lifted early. |
| Self-exclusion | Blocks access to your account for a longer period. | Cannot be reversed during the period you have chosen. |
How to set a limit
- Sign in and open the safer gambling area of your account.
- Choose the tool you want and the period it should cover.
- Enter the amount or length of time you are comfortable with, within the options shown in your account.
- Confirm your choice. We will ask you to confirm a second time before anything that loosens a limit.
- If you cannot find a setting, ask our live chat team or e-mail support@casino-milkywins.co.uk and we will apply it for you.
A lower limit, a shorter session or a more frequent reality check takes effect straight away. A request to raise or remove a limit is held for a cooling-off period before it applies, so that a decision made in the heat of a session does not change your budget immediately. You can cancel a pending request at any time while it is waiting.
Time-outs and self-exclusion
A time-out is a short break for those moments when you want to step away. Self-exclusion is for longer and is intended for players who feel their gambling is out of control. During either, you cannot deposit or play, we stop sending you marketing, and any remaining balance can be withdrawn in the normal way. A time-out ends on its own; a self-exclusion ends only after the period you chose has passed, you ask us to reopen the account and a further cooling-off period has elapsed.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem
Difficulties usually build up slowly. Go through the list below honestly, and think about the past few months rather than today alone.
- You spend more money or time gambling than you planned to.
- You gamble to win back losses, or deposit again straight after a loss.
- You gamble with money meant for bills, rent or food, or with borrowed money.
- You hide your gambling from family, friends or colleagues, or lie about it.
- You feel restless, low or irritable when you are not gambling.
- Work, study, sleep, relationships or other interests are suffering.
- You think about gambling for much of the day, or plan your day around it.
- You have tried to cut back or stop and found that you could not.
Where to get free, confidential help
The organisations below are independent of us and provide support across the United Kingdom at no cost. You do not need a diagnosis or a referral to get in touch, and you can contact them about your own gambling or about someone else's.
- GambleAware provides information and advice on gambling harm and can point you towards free treatment and support near you.
- GamCare offers confidential counselling, structured treatment and group support for people affected by gambling, including friends and family.
- GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme that blocks you from gambling sites licensed in Great Britain for a period of your choosing.
- The National Gambling Helpline is staffed by trained advisers who can talk things through with you in confidence at any hour and help you decide on next steps.
Debt advice charities and your GP can also help, particularly where gambling has affected your finances or your health. Our support team can tell you what a time-out or self-exclusion will mean for your account, but we cannot provide counselling or medical advice.
Protecting minors
Gambling by anyone under 18 is illegal and we take active steps to prevent it. We verify the age and identity of every customer, and we may ask for documents at registration, before a withdrawal or at any point afterwards. If we find that an account holder is underage, we close the account, void any winnings and return deposits in line with our terms.
If children or young people share your home or device, please take these precautions.
- Keep your password and payment details private, and never let anyone else use your account.
- Sign out fully after playing, and do not save your login details in a shared browser.
- Avoid letting a device remember your card or wallet details where others can reach it.
- Install parental control or filtering software, which can block gambling sites and apps on home computers, tablets and phones.
- Use the controls built into your operating system, browser or home broadband to restrict access by profile or age.
If you believe an underage person has used your account or anyone else's, tell us as soon as possible through live chat, at support@casino-milkywins.co.uk, or at responsiblegaming@casino-milkywins.co.uk, and we will look into it and secure the account.
